It was a great pleasure to meet you Will and Anda. Leave it to me to pick a stranger and just start talking, I was in awe of the journey that you have taken on . God gave us this beautiful place that we call home, not all people are good stewards of the Earth. You certainly have a good purpose and I agree with you 100%. I hope that you remember us. God Bless and keep you safe. You have a real world experience to talk about with your children oneday. GLORIA

Will & Anda ~

Wow, what a joy & privilege it was for us to have you in our home! If you ever need a reference, we can affirm that you were both very considerate guests! Know that we will be holding you in our prayers for continued strength & perseverance to safely & successfully finish your trek across America! We would like to leave you with a very meaningful conversation between our good friends, Samwise Gamgee & Frodo Baggins. Who, as you know, also undertook a very long & tedious journey...

Frodo: I can't do this, Sam.

Sam: I know. It's all wrong. By rights we shouldn't even be here. But we are. It's like in the great stories, Mr. Frodo. The ones that really mattered. Full of darkness and danger, they were. And sometimes you didn't want to know the end. Because how could the end be happy? How could the world go back to the way it was when so much bad had happened? But in the end, it's only a passing thing, this shadow. Even darkness must pass. A new day will come. And when the sun shines it will shine out the clearer. Those were the stories that stayed with you. That meant something, even if you were too small to understand why. But I think, Mr. Frodo, I do understand. I know now. Folk in those stories had lots of chances of turning back, only they didn't. They kept going. Because they were holding on to something.

Frodo: What are we holding onto, Sam?

Sam: That there's some good in this world, Mr. Frodo... and it's worth fighting for.

Blessings ~

Hello my friends! It was great meeting all of you today. I sure hope we can hook up and do some things together through both organizations. I love the website and really interested in working with you especially on new farming programs and your thoughts on our rehabilitation program. I is too bad we are going in opposite directions, it would be great to ride together. I truly believe that paths cross for a reason....please keep in touch!

Hi - Second attempt as your protector doesn't like me. The Lebanon Valley Bicycle Coalition would appreciate learning from your experiences what bike facilities on the roads have made your travel safer, if any? The west coast states have been far ahead of us in PA to encourage bicycling so you may be able to offer us some help as we struggle with local and state planners who don't want cyclists to use the roads. Also, how did you travel across southern PA? S route? How was the experience? thanks. Pat Krebs, who met one of your moms at the medical center.

I saw a news article about your trip. Great stuff. Sustainability is the only way forward. A two story mud house is ambitious, but do it!
